Ours polaire * Polar bear
The polar bear (Ursus maritimus) is an animal which does not leave indifferent. He is one of bigger predators existing at the moment. His days are nevertheless in great danger. In front ofthe reduction of his hunting territory, the ice floe of North Pole, he is an animal of which the future is more than uncertain.
Their coat contrary has what we could believe is not white but translucent, colorless, it is the reverberation of the light that makes it look white-yellowish. The skin is black allowing him to absorb the bright energy (purple and ultraviolet) that, associated with a thick greasy layer, serves as insulating material and "heating".
