Sous cet angle pas facile de reconnaitre ce papillon.

Under this angle not easy to recognize this moth.

Puis entre deux battements d'aile apparu le détail qui règle le problème: le y/gamma présent sur le dessus des ailes. Nous voilà donc en présence de la noctuelle Gamma (Autographa gamma). Ce papillon, principalement nocturne mais souvent visible de jour, est malheureusement connu pour ses chenilles ravageuses de culture, notamment sur la betterave.

Pour l'heure laissons cet individu butiner tranquillement.

Then between two beatings of wing appeared the detail which solves the problem: the y/gamma visible on the top of wings. Here we are in the presence of the silver Y moth (Autographa gamma). This butterfly, mainly nocturnal but often visible during the day, is unfortunately known for its caterpillars foraging of culture, in particular on the beet.

For the moment we'll let this one gather nectar quietly.
