Variable * Goldenrod

On l'appelle thomise variable (Misumena vatia) car elle a la particularité de changer de couleur afin de se fondre au mieux avec la fleur qui lui sert d'affut.

It is called goldenrod crab spider (Misumena vatia) because it has the particularity of changing color to blend best with the flower that serves as a lookout, and goldenrod is one of its favourite color.
