Le genêt des teinturiers (Genista tinctoria) était utilisé pour teindre la laine et le coton en jaune ou vert (avec adjonction de sulfate de cuivre)

Dyer's greenweed (Genista tinctoria) was used to dye the wool and the cotton in yellow or green (with addition of copper sulphate)
