Perforé * Perforate
Le millepertuis perforé (Hypericum perforatum) porte ce nom car ses feuilles semblent perforées. Ces trous sont de poches sécrétrices d'hypéricine qui s'est révélée être un anti-dépresseur naturel.
St.-John's wort (Hypericum perforatum) has leaves that seem drilled. These holes are secretary pockets of hypericin which turned out to be a natural antidepressant.
