Sceau du Salomon * King Solomon's-seal

Les sceaux de Salomon (Polygonatum sp) sont fréquent dans nos forêts. On les trouve sur quasiment toute la France.

Il existe le sceau de Salomon commun (Polygonatum multiflorum) dont les fleurs sont regroupées par trois ou plus.

Solomon's seals (Polygonatum sp) are frequent in our forests. We find them on almost all France.

There is a seal of common Salomon seal (Polygonatum multiflorum) which flowers are grouped by three or more.

et le sceau de Salomon odorant (Polygonatum odoratum) dont les fleurs sont soit par une ou deux et qui a une douce odeur.

And the seal of odoratum Solomon seal (Polygonatum odoratum) which flowers are or by one or two and which has a soft smell.

On les appelle aussi faux muguet à cause de la ressemblance due aux clochettes. A savoir qu'ils sont, comme le muguet, toxique.

Like its relative lily of the valley it is toxic so take care.
